There’s a new, cutting-edge technological solution leap forward for reefer trailers – the Vector eCool powered by ConMet eMobility’s eHub, creating a zero-emissions reefer trailer.
Designed to work with Carrier Transicold’s Vector series of electric refrigeration units, the eMobility eHub delivers plenty of performance benefits for the modern refrigerated transport fleet:

The eHub is electricity on the go.
An integrated eHub wheel assembly captures energy at the wheel end whenever the vehicle is in motion, generating electricity that is stored in a lightweight, high-capacity battery under the trailer. An electric motor sits inside the wheels on an axle, each able to generate 80 kilowatts of peak energy into the battery. This keeps the electric refrigeration unit running without the need for diesel fuel.
If the Vector unit detects no electricity coming from the battery, it automatically switches to diesel mode to ensure that the cooling continues and goods are delivered at the right temperature.
Installs on virtually any reefer.
Modular components make this system flexible enough to work in many different configurations, for many different pieces of the temperature-controlled market, whether it’s multi-temperatures, split evaporators, single temp, it covers the gamut of trailer refrigeration.
